Specialist Medical Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery SCM performs full diagnostics of anatomical and functional changes within the reproductive organs and prophylactic examinations for the cancer prevention.

In most cases, surgeries are performed using minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries).

These techniques are mostly used in the treatment of changes located in endometrium and uterus adnexes:

  • ovarian cysts,
  • subserosal and submucosal fibroids,
  • congenital malformations of the uterus,
  • abnormal bleeding from the uterus that cannot undergo hormonal treatment,
  • removal of endometrial polyps.

Laparoscopic or hysteroscopic surgeries are also performed for the hysterectomy surgeries (with or without adnexes removal) and endometrium excision in some cases of abnormal bleedings.

All treatments and surgeries in our medical center are performed by gynecology and obstetrics specialists as well as gynecologic oncology specialists, experienced in colposcopic and ultrasound diagnostics.

This team is directed by Professor Antoni Basta – President of the Polish Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathophysiology and President-Elect of the Polish Gynecological Oncology Society.
